We’re delighted to report that our dedication to providing healthy food for school children has been recognised by the
Hyperactive Children's Support Group (HASCG), which have granted us its Highest Award for Excellence. We are the first - and so far the only - food supplier to have won this award.
The medical profession now recognises that as many as one in 10 children suffer hyperactivity or food allergy, so we are delighted to support HACSG in their drive to promote the recognition of ADHD (attention deficit disorder) and help schools to meet the needs of affected children.
HACSG has made the award in recognition of several of our achievements - the almost complete absence of additives from our foods, the fact that they are generally freshly cooked on site, our development of Scoolcrumb and the sourcing of our fish from sustainable fisheries. They also value the help we give to cooks on site.
