2015 Green Gourmet Named Gloucestershire Business Of The Year

The Gloucestershire  Business of the Year awards are always a great celebration of Gloucestershire’s business landscape and the entries are always of an incredibly high quality.

This award goes to the profitable business that has not only increased potential but has also had a positive impact on Gloucestershire’s economy as a whole, the size and age of the business is considered against its financial performance.

The judges were interested in innovative products, services and processes as well as expansion into new markets and different areas of business activity.

Green Gourmet Ltd celebrated after being named Gloucestershire Business of the Year 2015. Green Gourmet managing director, Julie Moore, said: "Gloucestershire is a hotbed of talent across all aspects of business.

“It’s great that the foodservice industry is represented among such esteemed company as a finalist and we are absolutely delighted our fast-growing team's efforts have been recognised with this award win."

In the school catering market, Green Gourmet now supplies locally sourced meat and poultry and sustainably caught fish to over 125 school meal providers across the UK.

Founded in 1991 by CEO Adam Starkey, Green Gourmet has grown to over £14m in turnover with a 38-strong team.
