Who are we?

Green Gourmet creates dynamic and healthy eating food brands and supplies a large range of Farm Assured and Red Tractor Accredited meat, poultry, Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) and Marine Conservation Society (MCS) fish, vegetarian, organic, gluten free and bakery products for the food service markets.

Green Gourmet’s mission is placed firmly in the context of our relationships with customers. Our unique business model and food product innovation has been refined so that it enables the company to live and breathe a genuine customer centric positioning.

We are a small team of passionate, driven and caring people committed to sourcing the best ingredients and delivering innovative solutions to our customers!  We live and breathe food, good quality ingredients, British produce and provenance - meet our foodie family!

What do we do?

The Green Gourmet portfolio of food brands builds its reputation on award winning foundations.
With our roots in school catering, Green Gourmet services education catering, local authorities, elderly care and contract catering companies with our Choice for Life brand.
We work with our customers by helping them to produce healthy recipes and support them to increase the amount of locally and sustainably sourced British food produce served on menus to achieve accreditation and certification of food standards.


Green Gourmet has also built on the core business by diversifying into the travel and leisure catering market, with our Source Foods brand in the buy on board and complimentary catering market. We offer healthy eating and innovative ideas for a variety of foodservice challenges – such as working with international airlines to overcome the on-board challenge of delivering crispy, 'toasties’ and hot sandwiches to airline passengers,

Green Gourmet’s products have been served on British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Thomson, Monarch and Qantas and are also exported for service to seven countries outside of the UK.

How do we do it??

As well as designing our food products in our development kitchen, we work with food suppliers to source the raw materials and ingredients, administer production at our partner BRC accredited manufacturing sites and manage the marketing and distribution of our food products to sites all over the UK and further afield.

Our flexible approach and generous holiday allowance aim to encourage our people to look after themselves and their families. In addition, you will be entitled to 2 wellbeing days each year, this provides you with 2 extra days paid leave on top of your holiday allowance to recharge when needed.

We provide free fruit and veg for healthy snacks during the day, alongside a fridge packed full of our products so you’ll never go hungry! If you have a sweet tooth, we have some fantastic bakers who often bring in a treat or two.
